Gskill 1600 9-9-9-24 2x2GB
Im trying to run these at 1866-1900.

But they wun work on 9-9-9-24.
They work on 10-10-9-28 @ 1.65v.

Can I increase the voltage to get CAS back to 9?

Whats a safe limit for volts on these gskills for those who have experience with these?

Assuming the kit is rated at 1.5V, at 1.65V the modules are already .15V above what they're rated to run at. You'll probably never be able to run the modules at CL9 and DDR3-1866 without extreme voltage, but you may be able to hit the same frequency at 10-10-10-25 w/ lower voltage like 1.60V for example. And memory bandwidth would probably be higher at DDR3-1600 and 9-9-9-1T than at DDR3-1866 and 10-10-9 or 10.

Hi Red,

I did 1600 ; 9-9-9-24 : aida64 memory benchmarks show 9374 mb/s

At 1866 ; 10-10-9-28 : aida64 memory benchmarks show 9744 mb/s

I know the difference is not much, but am I doing anything wrong here?
