i was contemplating using a Kraken-G12 and a 120mm AIO from older alienware systems i have been told to scrap from work and i was curious what should i use to cool the VRM and/or RAM on the card or if i should even bother.

the AIO is compatible (same retention mechanism) and its capable (re used one on a i7-4770, low 30's avg)

in case any one is wondering this is the card:

the 85C+ load temps in an open case are a bit worrying in my mind. plus aio card cooling for $25-$30 kinda thought why not

yea VRM is what concerned me the most..

guy i worked with apparently has a pair of dead 1080's i might give him a few bucks for one to chop up the heatsink if the screw holes are in the right spot. hes not sure of the vendor

i thought about chopping up mine but i want to be able to go back to stock if need be for what ever reason
