heads up gentoo 2004.3 eth0 1st reboot problem

i have seen alot of people get the problem where after their first reboot, eth0 doesn't even show up, if they use genkernel, seems like this is caused by the driver being built as a modules not in the kernel.

took me about 5 hours to figure this one out, want to save you guys here who are upgrading the trouble :)
 
Thanks for the heads up XENO.

Its always something with the live-cds. Heck 2004.2 didn't even boot on over half of my computers.
