Heater core < 5.25" wide?

i would get it from an autozone. its 18 vs 27 for the without ac model.

ok yeah i just measured out my bays and they are 5 13/16-7/8 so i think the AC model would be best. now where to find one for cheapest... also are there any other heater cores 5 7/8 or less wide>? i am sure that they are out there. we must find them

I have seen pics of the Bonny W/AC, AKA Fedco 302 in the top of cases between the 5.25" rails. Cetoole has one in the front of his Stacker in between the 5.25" bays.

It's a tight fit, but they will slide into most 5.25" bays from what I've seen.

and also, what about 5.25" drives that dont use drive rails, but rather have direct screw-in? arent those supposed to be exactly 5.25" wide? (this is going to be for a friend so i can't really measure myself)

i really dont want to have to mess with the heater core....

but if i do come around to crushing it, whats the best way, a hammer?

mmmmk, so back to rads that will fit, i guess the A/C model, so i will go for that, or is there another one exactly the same/cheaper feadco or something still lil confused?
