I plan on usin one of these with a 9800 AIW pro

Thanks!!!!!!

i havent seen teh nec model you're lookinga t in person but a friend of mine has the samsung 191t, and i really like the thin bezel, which makes teh monitor very sleek and space efficient...

the image quality is pretty good.... as long as you're not into super fast and accurate gaming (i.e. ut2k3, cs, etc etc) its a good choice...

i do have two other NEC lcd's at home, the 2010 multi sync and the 1550v, but they're completely different from each other and i'm sure that accu is dffereint from them too, so no comment on the nec

ok Thanks and yes I am into super fast gaming racing and Ut2k3,so are you saying that 191t is not a good choice then?

If you are into superfast gaming no current 19" lcd would be good for you. Maybe you should go fo one of the 16ms 17"ers. Or maybe since you play that type of game a lot, a nice 21-22" crt would probably be best for you.

edit: you would have to use the monitor yourself to determine if you are alright with the blurring that would occur.

Go for the Samsung. At least I know that is decent.

Their disclaimer about dark and light spots probably has to do with the backlight. No, that is *not* common to all LCDs at all. If you have a LCD that significantly differs in brightness from area to area I would suggest taking it back.
