Thanks for the correction. It's been a while since I've had to remember the words in any of the acronyms. Anyone notice that the majority of computer terms are acronyms? (just a bit off topic, but I'm done. )

same with the military . Anyway resetting the CMOS...that's resetting the BIOS right?

That's correct. It resets everything to default. This includes the clock so don't forget to set that as well.

Take everything out, clean the case and re-install heatsink. Problem solved.

That doesnt ALWAYS solve the problem...
