How fast can the 6 core bulldozer get to? I got mine to 4.0 on 1.55 volts.

Many go a little faster on the same volts. Since you give no idea of motherboard, actual model of cpu or ram...sounds okay enough since you already have gotten there.
 
No, 1.55v is way toooooooooooooooooo much for 4.0ghz

I have a 6100 and have taken it from 3.3 to 4.0ghz on stock voltage p95 stable 12+ hrs. You shouldnt need 1.5+v until you are up near 4.8-5ghz
