Help with my first OC. AMD 6300

I just built my a new rig, Here are the specs:

Amd fx 6300
Asrock 970DE3 extreme 3
Gskill 16gb ddr3 1600
Corsair 500w psu 80+ cert.
Ocz 128gb ssd
Seagate 1tb 7200rpm hdd
His radeon hd 8750 2gb
Coolermaster hyper 212 evo

I would really like to do a simple oc of this machine. Never done an oc before so i would rather not mess with the really advanced settings yet.... Would really like to start out shooting for 4.0 or 4.1ghz. If anyone could please guide me through this i would really appreciate it. If you need any screen caps from zcpu or anything just let me know. Is this possible to achieve without changing voltages and such?

NO sense in RE-inventing the wheel every single time somebody wants to overclock a simple cpu. This thread is current and running right now toward the top of the AMD Cpu front page.

Overclocking AMD FX 6100 OR FX-6300 No Difference really.
