Hi all,

Im looking for a card to go into my 2500+, nf7s rig. Is the Hercules 3D Prophet 9800SE All-in-Wonder a good choice? Is it likely that I will beable to softmod it to a 9800pro?

What would you recommend?

Thanks

Rich

Well if you are getting a 9800 SE be sure that the version you get is 256-bit and yes it is possible to get 9800 SE working at 8 pipelines but it is rare, but even though you wouldn't get all the 8 pipes to work it is still a decent card, i got in 3DMark03 at stock speeds 3800 marks and overclocked i got it 4200, so it isn't so bad card as everyone is proclaiming (or most :D). It is still better than 9600 Pro but little slower than normal 9700.

Other is getting 9700 or 9700 Pro and if you have lots of extra money go to 9800 or 9800 Pro.
