OF COURSE I just got some Crucial @$15 shipped per 1GB stick from Newegg and was all pleased about that heh. I can console myself with the fact that the Crucial is listed on the compatability sheet for just about all decent motherboards.
 
this is a great deal. i'm in for 4 gb from techonweb - you just can't beat $10/gb. HP has a good reputation for rebates too, with many people getting their money in about a month (not a guarantee, mind you). this was all i needed to force me to upgrade from s939.
