I'm just only asking question for info/reference purposes, nothing for real build.

What basic spec of HTPC suppose to be?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Blu-ray Disc Play: 2D - 4K (4K: ? x 2160) (# of Frame Rates)
4. Blu-ray Disc Play: 3D - 4K (4K: ? x 2160) (# of Frame Rates)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Video File Play: Full HD - 2D (1080p: 1920 x 1080) (Min-Max Frame Rates)
6. Video File Play: Full HD - 3D (1080p: 1920 x 1080) (Min-Max Frame Rates)
7. Video File Play: 4K - 2D (4K: ? x 2160) (Min-Max Frame Rates)
8. Video File Play: 4K - 2D (4K: ? x 2160) (Min-Max Frame Rates)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. Online Streaming: Youtube (Max quality, depends on streaming video)

B. Specification wise:
1. Case: ITX / mATX / ATX/E-ATX / etc.
2. PSU: Non-Modular / Modular / Full Modular with ???W
3. CPU: AMD ? / Intel ? (Suppose to be no overclocking?)
4. Motherboard: AMD ? / Intel ? (Suppose to be no overclocking?)
5. RAM: DDR3 / DDR4 (Suppose to be no overclocking?)
7. HDD: SATA3/SATA III (SATA 6.0Gbps)

I'll do my best here as it is a general question.... It needs a general answer :)

When I think of an htpc I start with the case (and it's important to note that I'm attempting g my first htpc... It's in the design stages) and fit the other components to the case.

I usually consider that the monitor will be an LCD TV of some sort, so I usually guess at HDMI output somewhere along the line, whether it be on board or in a gpu. As for a gpu, it depends on the resolution you are trying to reach, I don't think you can hit 4k with any of the on board systems out there but who knows right?
(accelerated processing unit) basically ad's attempt at smashing a cpu and a gpu into one chip. Nice when you don't have room for a discreet card :)

I can't intelligently discuss ram choices (not that I did that we'll with what I already said either I suppose :) ) but there is what I think anyway
In a other thread, I had AMD suggested over Intel for the on board APU

@knoober:
Thanks for reply.
I guess these days most of people uses HDMI as in PC or TV monitor.

@People who might reply:
I'm willing to hear another people's opinion on my asked thread question.
So, feel free to reply me, if you willing to.
