Hello guys

I have been writing and discussing all over different forums. And I am not sure if I am getting the help that I need. Though I am not an experienced overclocker. I am happy to say that I am starting to learn more and more. And that I am enjoying this hobby even more for every time.

I have been pursuing a 4GHz stable overclock for my CPU.
I have gotten some 0x03B BSODs before. But actually now I am quite stable.
I want you to take a look at my values and say what you think about them and perhaps what I could change.

CPU: i7 920 d0 3949A375 SLBEJ COSTA RICA 8M/4.80/08 (2.66GHz when at stock)
MB: EVGA 141-BL-E760 X58
RAM: Corsair Dominator TR3X6G1600C8D 8-8-8-24 1.65v (ver. 3.2.)
PSU: Corsair HX1000W

My values
Default BIOS - then changes below were applied

Frequency
CPU Clock Ratio (20)
CPU Host Frequency (191)
CPU Uncore Frequency (Auto)

Memory Feature
Memory Frequency (2:8)

Voltage
Without Vdroop
CPU Vcore (1.285)
CPU VTT (+100)
CPU PLL Vcore (1.88)
DIMM Voltage (1.65)
QPI PLL Vcore (1.35)
IOH Vcore (1.2)
ICH Vcore (1.2)

CPU Feature
Turbo mode (enabled)
CxE (disabled)
QPI Frequency Selection (4.8GT/s)

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Christopher

YMMV, but my D0 needed a lot more Vcore to fully stabilize at 4.0ghz+. Also, you might try dropping the multiplier to 19x instead of 20x. Seems that 20x has known stability issues. Mine wouldn't stabilize past 3.8ghz on the 20x multi no matter what I did. Dropped it to 19x and retuned and now it hits 4.2 just fine.

I got 21x (odd) because I got Turbo mode enabled
