Hello,

I didn't know where to post this as it's sort of a motherboard/graphics card question, but here goes.

Recently I brought myself an ASRock Dual Sata2(socket939) motherboard, and an AMD Athlon 64Bit 3700+ CPU (socket939) 1GB of Crucial RAM and a GeForce 6600GT (PNY Technologies)

I've built it all up together and tested out the PC, and it turns on fine, everything starts up all proper, but no display is being shown on the screen. All the wires and everything are plugged into the back of the monitor securely.

The card should work, as it's an AGP 8x and the motherboard AGP slot is an 8x. BUT, I noticed that my motherboard only takes 1.5V(voltage) cards, but I don't know how to find out what my 6600GT voltage is.

Anybody any ideas on the situtation? Thanks. :)

Sounds like a bad card .Its not the agp voltage.I would test the card in another PC if it dont work then its the card but if it does it's either the mobo or some other part..I would also try the ram in another board to.

It's definetly not the card or the memory, as they worked 100% perfect in my older ASRock motherboard only a few days ago.

So it's a faulty motherboard? Should I send it back?

MicroDirect

I've never used them before, but you can return products if you dont want them within 7 days. Luckily, this is the last day to send it back. I'm not sure if you have longer if the item is faulty or not.

Thing is, how do I prove the mobo's faulty? And your 100% certain the Nvidia GeForce 6 6600GT AGP 8x (PNY Technologies) is 1.5Volts? Cheers.

call pny .That should settle it. I live right near micro direct the one in Villanova Pa.

I just noticed what thread this is and i dont think we should be posting this here..I think you /we need to start a seperate thread for this
