Installed SSD, now Windows Blue Screen's when trying to use Ninite???

Trying to help a friend here...
Fresh windows 10 install on a new Samsung SSD he bought. Once I use Ninite (ninite.com) to install a bunch of programs, windows just BSOD with the "Page Fault in Nonpaged Area" and it wont reboot again just says Windows has run into a problem.

What the hecks going on here? No problems before trying to install the SSD?

Don't use ninite?

Let windows do that... why 3rd party? And honestly, just constantly updating sounds like a receipe for disaster.
