Im taking on a project for a guy at my work.

His iphone basically brand new wont work. Said he bumped the phone when in his pocket. Sent it out to apple and they wont work on it they want him to buy a new phone rather spend the time to save info.

Ill have the phone tomorrow for more visual inspection. He wants all his pictures off the phone by any means necessary. Is there a way to do this if it dont power up due to internal battery is bad.

Apple told him it would cost 200+ to repair it to save his info and thats more than what he paid for it new.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this.

Plugging it in to a computer via usb should charge it enough to power it on. It may take an extra moment for some juice to get into the battery.
