Is this possible? Low temps, high VCore on Air.

At 1.95V my temps do not go over 40c on full load.

With a Sp-97, AS5, and a 92mm tornado, with the tornado a half speed. I mean is this right? I've seen water that is worse that this. I suppose it could be a probe error, but in the bios the temps are 36c idle, what is what MBM5 says.

So do I have kickass cooling? Or is my board just lying to me?

Specs:
DFI NF2 LP B
M-2500+ @ 202x13 1.8v (hit wall there prob due to RAM, temps @ that vcore 32c idle 36c load)
1gb Kingston valueRAM
Thermaltake Xaser 3 (case open for reasons of laziness )

That is pretty kick *** cooling. my sk 7 with 92 mm tornado is pulling in
just under 45º at 1.93 volts *required for 2500 mhz* witht he tornado at full bore.... I expected the sk 97 to be better, surely, but not THAT much better.

The real tell-tale-all will be the ambiant temp.

What does ur case temp say? If its close to like 15c* I would believe it.

My PC dosnt break 50c* @ 1.75v with an ambiant temp of 30c*

What kind of CFM is the Tornado pushing at half speed?

My SP-97 and 92mm Panaflo M1 (full speed) keeps my 2500 (1.65v, 11x200) at 32.5C idle with a system temp of 23C.

Keep in mind this is an NF7-S thermistor reading

Ambient temp makes a huge difference, at 30C Ambient I expect your temps to be around 50C with a nice cooler and 1.9v........

Maybe he just got a very nice and smooth SP-97 (great finish) - it happens.

Check my sig; when I was WC'ing I ran ~36C idle. With the SP-97, I run 32.5C idle. Of course, I ran a higher case temp with the WC equipment installed which might account for the diff.

92mm tornado at 1/2 speed will still push 60 CFM. my sp-94 keeps my p4c at full load 10 degrees over ambient with the same fan, thermalright makes some nice coolers
