hello........!
i am want to ungrade my power supply to Chieftec CFT-1200G-DF 1200 Watt...but i dont know that the +12v rails be enough to run my Overcloked i7 950 @ 4Ghz and OC 3 x GTX 260 Core 216 3 way SLI.the specs of PSU in which i am intrested is..

GPU: Nvidia 3 x XFX GTX 260 Core 216 3-WAY SLI @ 715/1270/1431 (Core/Memory/Shader)
HDD: 640GB S-ATA Seagate Baracuda 32 Mb Cache 7200 Rpm
Sound: SoundMAX Full HD 7.1 Channel
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 x64 *Activated*
PSU: CORSAIR TX-850 Watts
Monitor: View Sonic 24" VA2413wm LCD

i dont think that my curent PSU corsair 850 watts can handle my curent setup....please help me.:wall:
 
Man you're fine with your current PSU.

I second that motion. Those vid cards pull around 200w under MAX load and your cpu maybe 150w. Unless you're folding on those 260s and i7, I see no reason to upgrade.

Edit: looks like I took to long to post. I 4th that motion...

I would have to say yeah i have the TX and HX 850's and both are great.The TX at one time was running a Q9650 at 4.2ghz and 5 xHD's all in raid 0 + two GTX 260's core 216's in SLI and two DVD +RW's and a usb zip drive and a few other odds and ends and 7x120x25mm fans.And the system was dead stable
