I have no formal education, I'm just fortunate to be very good at what I do AND I happen to enjoy it. I think that's what has pushed me up so quickly....the fact that I enjoy what I do. I think sometimes that can be hard to find.

Yup that'd be the clincher I'd say. You are lucky if your work is something you truly enjoy. Not only will you be happier but your employer will be more willing to trust you with more. And that will be to your benefit in the long run, as is fairly apparent so far. Too many people are like me and have a pathetic tolerance for what they do and can't wait for 5pm and Fridays ;)

unless you are independently wealthy and have lots of interests, the best thing that most of us who need to work to live can have is a job that we enjoy :)

Congratz :) and Fold on (even faster now :D)

congrats cw!!!

Make your vocation your vacation.

Hey, Hey!

Congratulations on your new job, CW!!

I'm guessing with all that new folding power, I won't be ahead of you for much longer!!

"I tell you Mr. Store Manager, I need a bag of cheesy poofs big enough to slow down a Q6600, at least! Why are you looking at me like that?" :D :D

I got another X3210 G0.....I'm very happy with the other one that I have and I have the same mobo and ram......

Probably another week or so before I get the third :drool: quad up and going, will be another DS3R & Gskill HZ but may spring for a Q6600 on that one.

Uh, no wonder you don't have cable. If I bought all this I wouldn't have cable either

Oh, shoot. I'd better get busy! :D

Just ordered the Q6600 system, though I see myself putting the Q6600 in my main PC and using both X3210s as FAH only ubuntu rigs. Here's too any WU BUT 3059

I'm tired of the 3059s giving me 2100PPD from my quad. I think I'm just gonna WinSMP everything and leave it alone.

they are very tiresome. I still have 2 quads in linux that continue to get 2651/2/3/10 but any new ones get 3059's or lately the slightly better 1440 pt wu's.

What clocks are you running to only get 2100 ppd? ... at ~ 3.0 you should be getting ~ 2900 ppd.

I may move 1 or 2 back to win myself ... thank goodness for dual boot :)

3.2 (400x8) mem @ 1000 4-4-4-8. Right now it's just under 8 minutes a frame. Running command ./fah5 -forceasm -verbosity 9

The kicker is that my E6300 keeps getting 2610s....can't wait till my new quads get here.

Code:
