I know there are some better air cooling solutions out there but I already have it so I decided to stick with it instead of invest in another.

I have been reading forums and asking questions about my build for many weeks now... so, do you think I did my homework well?

BTW: I have Vista 64x and this machine has been built mainly for games such as oblivion, CnC 3, Crysis, Bioshock, GTA 4 and Fallout 3 (yeah... most of them aren't out yet  ... just couldn't wait anymore to get my hands into fresh hardware again :D )

You should probably list the parts in the thread.. i doubt anyone's going to click through all of that... That's IMO though...

Could have gotten a better heatsink for the money but not a bad build. Planning on overclocking it?

Thanks! Yep I'd like to take that baby (e6600) all the way up to 3.4 GHz if my big typhoon allows me to.

I would have got a better heatsink, as I said, but I already had that one.

As others have said...everything looks awesome, except for the HSF. But I think it might take you to 3.4 with a little luck. I'd say certainly 3.2 at least.

i have the P5N-E and if i could do it over again i would get the P5N32-E just for the extra 16x slot.

otherwise i have loved my P5N-E - it's good overclocker :)

^^ i'm pretty sure that would change if you had a heavily overclocked c2d and heavily overclocked 8800gtx's in sli. ;)

annnnnnd they only tested up to 1600*1200 resolutions.....

I only play my game at 1280x1024 so hopefully I'll be just fine with this board for a while ;)

I think I have a camera somewhere... I'll find it and take some pics when I get my stuff.

My only worry is compatibility mobo vs ram...
