Do the current kingston hyperx pc8500 c5 still use micron d9gkx or has kingston stopped using those chips?

It really depends on how old of a batch it is. All sticks being produced now don't use D9s, but some companies still have old stock left over from the D9 days.

Ah damn, that means I'll have to buy either team or cell shock if I want to be 100% sure about D9 right? Otherwise buy a used pair .
