KT4 Temps, reliable?

My kt4 reports different cpu temps in MBM + PC Alert 4(50 + 54C respectivly).

which should i go with?

Temp's = Load 58.5C(cpu) 41C(case)
Idle 53 C(cpu) 38C(case)

you know, ive been wondering about this myself for awhile... i hope i find an answer soon, but im not worried about it...

i just go with the highest temp i see just to be on the safe side

What I've read around is that MSI boards are programmed to read the cpu on-die temperatures from the xp cpus.

Can anyone substantiate this? I have a KT3 Ultra ARU and I get some wierd result with MBM and the included software that MSI provides to monitor CPU temps. What should be my system temp is always a few degrees from the CPU temp no matter what I do to keep the system temp down, that includes opening the case and blowing fresh air in with a small house fan. I just make sure the higher temp does not go outa bounds! Any ideas?
