SNT is the only US Distributor. If you want one now is a good time to order it, as it is not uncommon to wait 2-3 months for gear to come in from Germany. US Customs is very stringent post 9/11/01 and shipping alone takes 2-3 weeks. My last order on 10/11/04 should be here next week I hope. Dan is a good guy and will take care of you.

Does the thickness of the tubing make a difference to anything, or is it just a matter of preference?

Thicker tubing walls makes for a tighter bend radius so it doesn't kink as easily on sharp turns.
