I know the sub zero people would't use liquid metal, but I think my water chiller will run into similar problems. On what will be my first victim is currently an application of conductonaut. The web page suggests it has a working temperature of 10C+, and they don't recommend going below 8C.
In a test run last night, it only took about 40 minutes to chill roughly 4 USgal of water by 16C so I think I will easily be able to push to lower single digit water temps. If the CPU isn't under load (between runs, rebooting), it would converge to that temperature also...
So... I guess I should replace it with conventional compound before I even start that?
