Looking for a mkv to dvd program

Like the title says, I need a free mkv to dvd program, or programs. Need to make a playable dvd for some tv shows.

I don't even remember what i used to use, i think it was Nero or some stuff like that, honestly i haven't touched a DVD in ages.

I tried the freemake but it crashes when I try to burn the dvd.

I also use BDLot to rip an .iso and burn it with ImgBurn or Nero

Be careful when installing Imgburn. I haven't used it in a few years but it used to be bundled with malware.

I never had a problem with it. I usually get stuff from Major Geeks. I just downloaded Img Burn from them here https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/imgburn.html and checked it. Clean as can be.

Well if you start out with a region unlocked dvd player they usually have usb ports on the front that accept different formats just for this very reason. They are cheap too. The last one I had was $50. Much easier to copy a file to a fat32 drive than to burn a bunch of discs. Plus there are many programs that convert mkv's for free.
