But what i am really wanting today is some monitoring program suggestions. Mainly looking for performance and temp read outs. thanks again in advance for any and all replies.

Nothing wrong with starting out small if you will, that's how most of us got our feet wet with OC'ing.

If you haven't done so already, get a copy of CPU-Z, HWmonitor and whatever else is suggested in this thread. I personally don't use AMD overdrive but it can be helpful so go ahead and get a copy of that too, all downloads are free so no worries about $$ there.
As for stability testing, Prime 95 and OCCT will get you started for that purpose, there are others you can use and the other guys here can give their suggestions.

As for the actual benchmarking programs, Super PI (Ver 1.5) Hexus PI Fast, WPrime 1.55, Cinebench ver 11.5 and ver 15 will get you going with the CPU part of benching. All the above in fact will help you get started with the CPU portion of benching.

GPU/Videocard benching has it's own set of programs to use.

GPU-Z is the first thing I'd get, then download copies of 3D Mark 01, 03, 05, 06 and any others you can get. Aquamark is another one to get along with others listed here.

As stated, these links will get you started if you haven't downloaded these already or if you are missing something you'll need.

Man thank you! I have an account on Tomshardware as well and not one person has ever given me a good starting point. Very much appreciated.
