M4A78+ Crossfire support?

Ok, so my Motherboard, the M4A78+ has 2 PCIe Slots, a x16 and a x4. On the motherboard itself, it says "crossfire ready" on the bottom x4 slot. Could I get 2 ATI cards and run them in crossfire, even though 1 would be at x16 and the other at x4?

Yes you can.it will slightly affect performance ,but nothing serious.

Take a look at this thread, well just the chart on the first post... Your board is the same as the P35 chipset with 16x/4x PCIe slots. Nice comparison against X48 which is 16x/16x. The P45 is 8x/8x in crossfire, fyi.
