Well, I tried all I could... unless an ice age happens and I can get ambient temp below 19C I don't think I can get close to that Sandy...

Nice run... don't think I'm going to be catching the water guys with air this month. I've got a case now but can't decide on closed loop or custom H20, so I think you've got me beat.

Is that 1.726 vcore!? I have to ask what CPU/NB voltage you guys run when you have your CPU that high....

1.65 or 1.62 vcore and i pushed the cpu/nb up to about 1.4ish when i resize the pics to fit the mb for up loading they get fuzzy

edit yeah 1.72 i was getting mad at the lock-ups so i said f-it and pushed then walked away and tryed some thing else and got lucky. went back to reading some of the guides and though i was pushing to hard so went lower and tryed again. i got lucky on that one lol

1.3

closed loop or custom H20
Go full custom, I don't think you'll be happy with the temps from a AIO unit. My whole W/C system I picked up in pieces in the classies and ebay for less then $200.00

^^ That makes sense now... if you're only at 1.3v CPU/NB, it explains how I'm able to get anywhere near your clocks at under 1.5v CPU. When I'm only running the thing for as long as a bench or two, I'll push the CPU/NB up a good ways past that...

I'm really tempted to go custom. I just have this ADD thing about not reading instructions, so hopefully it would be something that can be figured out and built based on appearance alone. :p (No joke, I just eyed up the first brake chance I ever did on my car then drove it to test them out...)

If you're only going to cool the 8350 the 360 I have is overkill in most cases I could probably have gotten away with a 240 but it came with the Temjin when I bought it used. Do some research on the cpu blocks they do make a difference even if it 1-2c. If I were to do it over again I'd go with 1/8" thick tubing not 1/16" it kinks too easily. Get a decent pump, barbs/compression fittings and reservoir and your good to go. If you're going to add a gpu or 2 then do some research. Check out the classies I think there are a bunch of people parting out W/C setups in it.

@MD- good info man, thanks. I'm looking at pieces for a custom setup right now. If I'm going to go through the giant PITA to get a Kraken into the top of my case, guess I might as well just go for the real deal.

@TT- I just quick put your numbers into a CPU overclock calc- you were drawing ~288 watts of power just for the CPU during that run :p
