I've got a couple of bluetooth devices I want to connect to my pc, and only Microsoft bluetooth stack is supported. I used to have the blue bt icon before I formatted a while ago but it's not here anymore and I have no idea how to reinstall the software.

If specs are needed: Win7 64, asrock extreme4 z77

I guess your computer has Bluetooth.

Then, look at Hardware and Devices (not sure though, and I'm with Linux right now...) for a Bluetooth icon. Then around that Bluetooth icon look for an Advanced Settings or so. You'll find an option to enable the icon again.

There is no indication of bluetooth anywhere on the control panel or pc in general.

Ah're you sayin' mah mouth's making promises mah leg's can't keep?

...I mean, it was present pre-format, meaning an integrated one should be present.

I see what you did there.
For kicks and giggles, drop a Ubuntu live disc, open a Terminal, and upload the output of lsusb and lspci to pastebin.com.

What will that do exactly? My other pc runs Ubuntu, can't I use that?

That will list all the PCI devices (lspci, list PCI) and all the USB devices (lsusb, list USB) detected by the kernel, whether they're working / have a module loaded or not.

That will successfully tell us if you have a Bluetooth device or not, and if you have it, which one, so we can hunt a driver for you.

Obviously, for that to work, you must use the computer where you want to find that Bluetooth device.

This is a sample output, from my computer.

As you can see, there's a Bluetooth device, connected to Bus 005, with a vendor ID of 0CF3 (Atheros) and a product ID of 3002, with a friendly name of Atheros Communications, Inc. AR3011 Bluetooth.

I went to town and got myself a dongle anyway. I'm still pretty there's one integrated but i'll let it slide for now. I'll take you up on that tho, for kicks and giggles, yes. Can't it be done through the windows cmd instead?
