Totally free mmo, optional $5 a month for members servers with additional benefits. Its a java browser based game, but it is quite fun.

Most of the game is in a safe area for PvM only, but there is PvP and also a huge area for PK too. A crapload of very well designed quests and random events too. Check it out.
