I finished building my new system for the purpose of running VMWare ESX.
I’m using an Enermax AIO on an AMD 1950x Threadripper.
My older ESX server uses a Corsair AIO and I’ve been using the Corsair software to monitor it for years by doing a hardware pass through of the USB.
I did a lot of research on my new build but I failed to look at how I would monitor CPU temps.
I haven’t been able to get the Asus Aura working through a guest Windows VM and other CPU temp utilities appear to report false readings.
Has anyone overcome the need to monitor CPU temps while only using VM’s?
