I run sli 570s and a 2600k with the same psu as you. Works fine with them at 905 core 2205 mem.

oh sweet maby ill try it out before i get a new PSU then, is there any hard in starting up a system with an inadequate power supply?

That recommends 685 watts for my rig, which probably consumes a bit more power than yours does.

I don't have a kill-a-watt meter but I'd say it probably doesn't even draw that much power.

You are totally fine with the 850 watts.

The guys that did the 4-way SLI with 4 GTX480s maxed completely out in furmark only got to 1400 something watts.

gtx570s are way more efficient. You aren't gonna blow your psu up with these little cards

Well you can always reformat :attn:

But all in all...I think the 850 should give you 0 problems...

okay okay ill take both of your words for it, thanks guys, as soon as i sell my old desktop for ~300 ill get a new 570 :) (then ill have to actuly play games that require that kind of a set up :D)

my lightly overclocked 580s in SLI with my 2600k etc pull around 250W idle and around 600-650W (measured with my Kill-a-Watt) under load in BF3, I wouldn't worry about your 850W PSU unless you start pumping up the voltages through the cards and do some crazy things to them.

Yah I figured the usage would be close to 650w...
