motherboard drivers uninstall

i'm looking to replace my p8p67 with ether a p8z77 or asrock extreme6 z77

in my google search it seams a complete re install of windows may be needed

how would i uninstall all the drivers/ chipsets for my old board without doing a re install?

im on windows 7

I would just plug it in, let it do its thing. Reboot and install z77 stuff. Not the cleanest, but should work.

would that work best with the p8z77 as it's asus and has similar software to my p8p67?

Best is a clean install..

The Windows INF files (Intel chipset device software) for both the Z77 and P67 chipsets are the same.
