Hello,
I recently bought a 4 bay external hard drive enclosure (http://www.vantecusa.com/en/product/view_detail/488) It has a Esata port and a Usb 3.0 Port. Everything works as expected with the USB but the Esata Port Multiplier support and I'm only seeing the first hard drive in the bay
I can't for the life of me fine a definitive answer on weather or not my the MSI H55M-P31 (http://ca.msi.com/product/mb/H55M-P31.html) mother board supports Port Multiplier or not.
Any information to help figure that out, or how to enable it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Jef

No Intel Desktop board supports Port Multiplication.

The problem is not the hardware, Intel stated it is supported by the hardware. The problem is IRST. Intel has not stated that they will upgrade it. IIRC.

ahh dammit, thats too bad. Thanks to both of you though!
txus.palacios, IRST is Intel Rapid Storage Technology correct? I guess I will have to watch for updates.

Thanks!
