MVE/tridentx 2400...how to get 2400?

Your mother board doesn't natively support 2400mhz ram. Try installing your old ram, and setting a 2400mhz profile and then putting the new sticks in?

2600K has memory controller which is not running at more than 2133. 2400 is not going to happen on this CPU. You can try 2133 ratio and higher bclk but max will be probably something near 2250. Better try something like 2133 8-9-9 or 9-10-10.
2400+ ratios are working on IB not on SB.

Thanks folks. So...since I've got it running at 2275 (106.5 bclk) am I better off using the tridentx 2400 (stock 9-11-11-31), corsair dominator gt 2133's at 9-11-10-27 or tridentx 2000 (f3-16000cl9t-6gbtd) at 9-9-9-24? Really have so much to learn still about memory overclocking.

Would imagine that the 2000's or 2133's are the way to go but no idea on how much tighter I can run the timings and at what voltage to get them running ~2300. Only running the ram on air (with a big fan blowing down onto them).

Thoughts?

EDIT: Found a couple reviews...the corsair's can supposedly do 9-10-9-27-2T @ 1.55v (1154MHz) and 7-10-7-27-1T @ 1.7v (1154MHz). Stock voltage is 1.5v. Source: http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=485&page=4

The tridentx 2000's can supposedly do 9-10-9-24 1T @ 1.76v (1110MHz). Stock is 1.65v.

So...it appears that the corsair's would be the best for the current setup? Next questions are what would I need to do to get them running at 2275 (see my other post for my current settings)? Just set vdimm to 1.7v and let 'em rip? Should I set 7-10-7-27-1T in bios or use 9-10-9-27-1T in bios and memtweak to tighten the timings down? Will the sticks be ok at 1.7v with just a fan blowing over them?

tia for your thoughts!

Samsungs @2133 9-10-10 or tighter if they can ( these tridentx should work fine ).
Tridents 2000 are probably BBSE so 2133 7-9-7/8-9-8. If they're PSC then 7-10-7 or CL6 if you make them run so tight. I'm not sure what is in Corsair ... best is to check all as you won't know what is better till you test it.
