i recently installed an evga geforce fx 5700 ultra card and when
checking my soyo harware monitor it shows the agp running at
1.79 volts. i always thought that 1.5 was the default voltage for
agp, in my system bios it is set to run at 1.5. i was wondering
if this additional voltage is due to the card having a secondary
powersupply? i sometimes get random reboots when playing
games and wonder if this is due to overheating of my card?
my system is as follows:
AMD athlon xp 1800
soyo kt333 dragon lite motherboard
512 generic ram
evga geforce fx 5700 ultra 128MB video
2 NIC cards
onboard audio
i don't have anything overclocked.
i am running with the latest drivers from nvidia (53.03)
i have direct x 9 installed
are the results my soyo hardware monitor gives false?
are the random reboots while playing (usually star wars galaxies)
due to the video card?
i have turned off the restart option, yet recieve no error, and
still reboots.
