but, after 2 years, I again have a house and can bring my farm up ..... but a dozen amd xps aren't so fast anymore.

Looking to get cheapest mobo + proc I can that will boot headless over the network (ne1 got anything beter than LTSP these days?)

Probably looking to go P4's, as that seems to be where the seti $$$ / WU is at ......

Is the opterons with 64 bit linux doing better than the P4 for WU?

Thanks!

Or this: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=557 with a P-4c 2.6? BOINC Stats: MSI 405.09 14,693.88 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz Pentium

Looking to build another dual xeon myself, won't have quite as much production but will be one less computer to the wife
Been running both setups with cheap memory and just mild oc's, I think about 3.0g, PM me if interested.
