Nero unable to detect my cd burner?

My nero burning software is unable to detect my cd burner for some reason..the only thing I can select is the image recorder..which it isn't the cd burner..it burns all the files to an ISO image or something. I just recently installed my new HD and I wonder if it was that problem. I've updated to latest drivers for my chipset and everything..still not working. And yes both of my DVD-rom and cd burner works but nero just can't find it for some reason.

Go to Nero and see if they have an update that recognizes your burner. I had to do that for my laptop.

I doubt this is the problem..this just worked fine without updating it until I just recently installed new SATA HD..
