Hi All,

So I've decided that I'd like to do up a new desktop PC. Computer will be used for gaming only, most games I play are the league of legends/counter strike variety so I don't need an amazing PC. However I do plan to play GTA5. Below is the build I've picked out for myself.

Any thoughts?

ASUS Z97-A LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

A lot has changed in the tech so figured I'd come here to make sure I haven't made any glaring error's or bottlenecks.

thanks!

I'd be looking more at this:

The Z97-A is overpriced for its feature set
The HX650 is way overkill for any 960/970/980 based system
You're paying through the nose for that RAM, the timings are terrible, and you really only need 8GB.
The Antec 900 is a nice case, but it's pretty dated these days.
Also, I upped to a 970, put in a 250GB SSD, and added a CPU cooler.
