New Build, Vista or XP

Ive just built my newest rig, im wanting any and all suggestions from fan placement to memory , fsb, cpu timings. Here are the particulars:

Coolermaster stacker 830
Real Power Pro 1000w "Supposedly Worlds First 6 Rail +12v Psu, Come with Case , Dont know if its any good but reviews were good"
Abit IP35 Pro
Pentium Q6600 G0 Stepping
Tuniq Tower 120 "Silverstone FM 121"
Evga 8600gts 512mb
4 Gig 2x2 G.skill ddr2 1000 "PC2 8000"
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
2x Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA
2 120mm Coolermaster Fans with case
4 additional 120mm Kingwin Fans for Side Panel


Im wondering what temps i should be looking at for case, mobo, cpu in this case, what kind of oc should i be able to achieve , should i put another fan up top of the case for exhaust, should i have side fans for all intake or 2 intake 2 exhaust etc. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome, THanks All

OH yeah and im wondering if i should stick with xp or vista, i have both, ultimate 64 bit also, i have tried it , its ok, maybe a lil too secure for ur own good but can be disabled, im just wondering if i will notice a major peformance decrease by having vista on this rig instead of xp

Also, Should i run raid 0 or 1, What kind of stress testing do i need to use, and finally if i dont go with raid, should i leave the 500 gig as 1 big partition and defrag it often "if so what defragger should i use" or should i make multiple partitions. Thanks Again
