new internet, new problem

well i finally got my dad to upgrade from crappy DSL to high speed DSL (from 28kbps dl speed to 300+kbps )

anyways, i have a 3month subscription to napster (won it) and i start downloading songs, and if my MSN is on, it will log me out, and i cannot get back in until i close napster

is napster using all my bandwidth? if so how do i stop it from using it all, so i can still use MSN?

and even the odd time i get kicked off MSN....any ideas why?

hmm that sounds more liek a problem with MSN.

AFAIK, nothing can steal ALL the bandwidth and msn only needs a little bit. =

dont know if this should be in with programs section, but it was originally about the net so...

I couldn't say, I don't use MSN anymore because of a problem I had with my account.

Do you have your firewall setup with MSN correctly?

Latley msn has been really buggy and messed up. Random disconnects for me and all my friends.

ok, as long as im not the only one getting random disconnects

and i have the firewall set-up to allow msn
