New memory the computer reboots!

I currently installed the G. SKills DDR500 in an old Gigabyte GA-7VRX and everything is fine, when in idle or low load. Finally when I turn on my azerus, open multiple web browser, and AIM at the same time the computer will reboot itself. Does this mean I have an faulty memory? or is it compatibility issue? The computer does recognize the 2 Gigz of ram. I have left the computer idle for an hour now with low load usage and it seems fine. What is the problem???

run memtest etc.....

when i first started building back in the day mine did the same thing..

double check your timings, voltage, and slots and then run memtest overnight..
