New System - Suggestions

Yes, another one of those threads.

I am putting together a system and was hoping you could assist me.

I need a video card, Mobo and ram. (have everything else)
I already have the CPU (i7 3770k)

My budget is $800 (CDN)

Primary use is for gaming (75%) and CAD (25%).
I'm not an overclocker. I may/may not OC in the future.

I prefer nvidia so I'm thinking the GTX 670. The question is which one?
Is this a good choice?
What about Ram? 8 or 16GB? (didn't list ram cause I have no clue)
What about this Mobo? Can I do better?

Recommendations?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H for the motherboard. RAM, since you CAD, I'd go 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3-1600 CL9. In general, RAM is RAM and they're not really different. RAM speed doesn't really affect performance either.

GPU, depends what program you use for CAD.

Welcome to the Forums Ken, since you already have your CPU and is good to go i would like to say a Z77 Motherboard is a way to look at here. As for the GTX670 i understand a bit on that because of the CAD work there. AJ.
