I'm going to buy some for my new case :D

4/9/14

That 280x is $290 after Promo Code and $10 MIR...not bad.

Bleh, when I need a 6-10' HDMI cable, they have the 3' cables on sale. When I need a 3' cable, they have the 6' ones on sale. I have a bush of wires behind one of my monitors so big it has its own SS detail and a presidential library.

I really wish all cables were like cat5. Just keep a giant spool on hand so you can make a custom cable whenever.

Been using em for years, never had an issue with their HDMI, cat5/5e/6 cables. Choose your color even! :p

Did have an issue with a bunch of their 3.5mm M-to-M cables using em in the car, the rubber jacket is rather soft and on hot days i guess it would flex too much, breaking the wires. They just shipped me out a bew batch without hesitation.

Also, if you're sweating $4 for an HDMI cables, maybe there's other priorities. ;)

Yeah, I use monoprice a lot. I just have a Newegg gift card with a few $$$ left, was just hoping to be a cheap f*** and use that to cover the whole cost of the 3 cables I need :D

They are, it's just a bit more work is all.
HDMI example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-x-Termina...I-Male-Soldering-Connector-Plug-/310835132673
Finding the connectors proved to be tricky, Digikey doesn't seem to stock them.

20 connector shielded cable isn't the cheapest in the world, but it's not terrible. I think HDMI is differential signalling(not at all positive on this), so you'd want something with twisted pairs, lots of twisted pairs.

Yeah, then I also need a crimper and to memorize the pinouts, but I guess you're right, it can be done :D
