not able to open downloads windows 10

i have recently run into a problem. i have tried to download multiple games but for some reason the loading wheel comes up for a second and then nothing else would happen. I have looked all over the internet and could not find anything. any help would be appreciated.

So, you download them, and then try to open them, and they crash?

they dont crash they are unable to open with nothing popping up saying it has crashed.

Downloading with what? Steam, origin, other?

Is this after installation of the software/game?

Are these games in a zipped or a rarred format? Can you open any other files or types of files?

to answer Janus it is from the origin and it is after the download. to answer Zuzzz it is not zipped and i can open other files it is just with these certain downloads: technic launcher, FTB launcher, and sometimes war thunder.

I would try reinstalling origin.

Do any of them have anything left running in task manager?

does it show anything happening after you try to open the game?


Do you have any other game sources on your computer (Ubisoft's or Steam?) Do other applications all work fine is it just games that came from Origin?

i just updated my java and a a few drivers and it works now.
