Nvidia card logo & name not illuminated

The EVGA GTX 1080ti has the name illuminated, the MSI RTX 2060 above it does not.



In a different rig the EVGA RTX 3060 is not lit up, the EVGA GTX 1070 in a third machine is illuminated.

So my question is: why? what? how?

My eVGA 3060 does not light up either. I figured it was because it is a lower end card.

Well FWIW the 1080ti and the 1070 each have 2x 8 pin vga hookups and they both light up, whereas the RTX 2060 & RTX2060 have one connector and are not lit.

Tim my Zotac 1070 has dual 8pin and only the backplate has a lit logo. The Evga 1080ti & 3080 has lit logos.

On a positive note, I'm also lit, but my logos are dim.

Flagship card versus budget card (or just different classes of the same for that matter - think K|ngp|n versus XC in Evga - it's a tiering thing)
Different heatsinks
Different BRANDS, even.
Power/connectors have nothing to do with it..they are LEDs that sip on power.
These don't feel similar enough to be comparing them...(?)

The MSI card simply doesn't do it.

Tim...Full RGB is a must...It just so happens I have RGB for sale...(It is attached to a RTX 3080), a small price to pay for full RGB.
