Hi Folks,

I've had this running @ just under 4GHz - however - unreliable. Getting this up and running stable a bit beyond me with QPI, memory multipliers etc. Got the 4GHz from mainly tinkering values - remember I had to reduce my memory multiplier to 6 or something... Could anybody give me what I need in my bios settings to get this running stable (don't think the instability due to temps = monitored these). Aiming for 3.8 and above. Thanks.

Summary specs:

Intel Core i7 920
Gigabyte EX58-DS4
Corsair 1333 DDR3 - 6GB
KFA Nvidia GTX-660 EX OC 2G DDR5
Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro
Corsair CX500 CX 80+ Bronze 500W PSU
Zalman CNPS9900-MAX Red U;tra Aero Flower

Attached CPU-Z screens and log.

Any help much appreciated.

Have you read the guide to overclocking this chip on the front page? It may give you some ideas.

I see you have the C0 chip, rather than the more readily overclocked D0 version. The C0 is notorious for not being able to be O/Cd as well as the D0. It was an early revision, and the later D0s handle the OC much better.

Try googling core i7 C0 revision overclocking and you'll see what I mean.
