I was really expecting a bigger diffrence between the stock cards results and the overclocked card results. I mean thats quite a big overclock >_>
my cpu gained nearly 3k points
yet the card only gained about 1k I would clock it further since I've only hit 60c on load, but I've hit the voltage cap in any program i can find XD
T_T

I think my results will show alot better in games over these points.

Guys, have a look at the right format... ED is compiling all these info, so don't make his work harder ;)

Hi everybody, I am a new member here and would like to get my 3DM11 bench on the database. I got this FX-4170 about a month ago, and this test was made before I had really began to get the maximum OC potential out of it. I may redo this again this weekend just for posterity and comparison, as I have a CHV on the way, and a new case and TT W2 PRO waiting for it. Monday is probably when I will get the CHV, but it is within the realm of possibility that I could get it today. At any rate, here is my 3DM11 score running an FX-4170 and 2x PowerColor AX-6790 in Crossfire:

3dm11_a.JPG

Bu the way, these are 6790's not 6970's. PowerColor AX-6790 to be exact. Worst naming regiment in the history of GPUs with these cards, they should have been called a 6830 as they are the same card and 256 bit Barts GPU as the 6850/70 but some pinhead marketing guy must have decided they wanted to throw their regular naming regiment in the toilet so they could have another offering in the 67xx series.

P,S> I see there is no category for 6790's, hope adding a category for my entry is not too much trouble.

Looks like I have some updating to do...

All scores, WITH THE PROPER FORMATTING (see the first post, its just a copy/paste/fill out your info thing), will be added soon. :)

^you must respect the adequate format if you want to go in the charts (see post#1 http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=663685)

Sure thing. I am not however not quite sure exactly what is required. Do I have to register at HWbot? The link for instructions on this is dead in the OP.

I can sort this out this weekend and run a new bench, I am sure I will score a bit higher than the one I posted already, so that's ok.

3dm11_b.JPG

Is this what I need to do?: Run 3dM11 using the Performance preset (hoping that is the one with the free version), and then go to the "Register at 3DMark on the results page? Is this something I will need to actually "register" for, or will it give me a validation based on my current rig at the time it shows me the results?

Sorry for the bit-noobish questions, but I don't know exactly what to do so I am asking.

Thanks in advance for your help guiding me through this. :salute:

It will always give you a result. If you register/log in, it saves the results and you can compare them etc.

So the link I had above to my 3DM11 validation is ok, but I need to post it not in link form, but in textual form for submission, correct?

Like this?

Jagged_Steel - 5623 - FX-4170 @ 4.82 Ghz - 2x PowerColor AX-6790 895/SHADER SPEED(notavailable)/1095, Stock Cooler

This includes the correct link to my submission and my correct rig info. I don't have "shader speed" information available on that 3DM11 validation, is that an Nvidia only thing, or do I need to get it off of GPUZ or something?

Got 21015 but I had trouble overclocking all 3 cards, and ran out of time. I'd like to run this again soon especially with new drivers.
