I don't get why everyone's so mean to him. He's good at the games he plays. He makes money for doing what he likes (lots). He has computer parts with HIS NAME on them, and he's on 60 minutes; A program viewed by millions! No matter what anyone says; he is one of the best. That damn interviewer was trying to get him to say he's the best, and you could tell he didn't like saying that because he was "trying to be modest". I respect him.

hey guys, its seems like there's alot of haters. he's consistently won tournaments not just with painkiller but with other games too??? he's done this internationally as well.

didn't seem like he was putting anybody down at all, just giving his point of view on the questions he was asked and was very modest.

i'm not into fatality gear whatsoever so i don't buy it unless its on sale for less than its non-branded counterpart, but the guy seems to be doing something right and from the looks of it, seems to be positive.

maybe this is all retaliation due to the commercialism that fatality represents??? we are in a capitalistic society(free world).
 
you should respect your superiors. a winner would accept hes better than them for the time being and make themself better than him

if you truely believe you are the most 1337 h4x0r then go pwn him in a tourny.

Chances of you actually playing against him over the internet are slim to none. Sad truth, and I'm not actually trying to be an *** with the statement.
 
I couldn't care less about him. I play games for fun and that's it, so I can't ever see myself fawning over a hardcore gamer for any reason. There are a lot of people I look up to and respect because of things they've done. However, he is not one of them.

I'm not knocking him. If I was that good, and could make tons of money just by having my nickname on a motherboard, I'd do it in a heartbeat. However, just because he's good at a videogame doesn't mean anything to me. I acknowledge his skill, but I don't admire or have a particularly large amount of respect for him.

The same applies to people in other areas of the entertainment industry like actors or athletes. When someone actually produces something, or contributes to society in an appreciable way, I find that respectable. However, just being good at something doesn't mean much imo. Nothing wrong with using a natural talent to make money, but imo it doesn't make you automatically worthy of accolades.

Well i will make the statment that "ANYONE who would be PAID to sit and do something they love (in this case play a video game) will get a pat on the back from me"...I can only hope that the job i get some day is something i love, and what he does is just that A JOB. Here for those of you (and i know some one will) that will try to argue with this logic look at this, the defn of Job as written by answers.com 1) A regular activity performed in exchange for payment, especially as one's trade, occupation, or profession.

I feel that is enough said about that. I don't see how anyone can sit tere and pick on him because he goes out and makes a living. I don't see you picking on football players who make $XXmill and only play less then 20 games.

Lol, why I "hate" on him? Because I'm a touch jealous! Who wouldn't want to make money playing GAMES!? Who wouldn't want to party and get trashed with female gamers that would PWN us?! Oh my goodness, I'd love to be in his shoes, lol!

But the bottom-line is...Jod can't game, period. :p

Totally agree with ya. Heck if I could play games for a living and make cash off it, let alone travel around the world at others expenses I'd do it :) I love my games just to bad im not that good hehe.
 
I suck at online FPS games. When I get my lucky kill I still like to spam the screan "GOT PWNED?" "I am a leete haxor! I roxor!" "It's peanut butter jelly time!"

At least he's pretty modest with tittle.

How many people do you see any given day playing Battlefield 2, CS, and other games that flaunt their inability to show any skill that they express through trash talk?

Every few min if I'm playing. Theres some rare cases though where you can get a server without the trash talk, but it doesn't last long :(

LMFAO! I only do this at LANS. But I do get loud, hehe. Especially when I kill Zig :cool: With BF2 online, I usually remain silent. We don't get any 30 sec trash talk time after a round like UT2K4. I miss that!
 
Nice to see us gamers getting some positive media attention. Average gamer 30 Years old, nice!
