Ok so last computer I built was about 2-3 years ago. Its a amd x4 phenom 940, ati 4850, 4 gigs of ram. I want a new system for gaming as I am giving my old one to nephew so we can play world of warcraft together. Here is what I have come up with. I already have a 650w modular PSU I will be using.
$1000 budget or so. I have been out of the loop so I am not sure what is better AMD or Intel, I chose that intel as I have heard great things. For now I will be using stock cooling, then working up a water cooling setup. Put a geforce 2gig 560 as I wanted to spend around that price and it seems good.

Help me out and critique my build add any suggested changes I should think about.

64bg SSD is enough for a boot drive. Do you have any other hard drives laying around to house your games, music, and files on?

The memory cooler might be a bit overkill if you don't plan on overclock (so is the 2500k if you aren't going to overclock). So the questions are: are you going to overclock and is WoW your primary game?

I am not sold on the motherboard, any better choices around this price range?

You could do much better with combo deals. :p

This costs a bit more, but comes with a better case/faster HDD/MUCH better motherboard that has Crossfire support. It also comes with a mSATA slot on the board. What you can do with this is get a small 20GB SLC SSD from Intel, and use it as cache for your Caviar Black, which makes your storage volume MUCH faster, it's Intel's new RST feature. It also lets you use the onboard graphics in case your video card dies.

Reminder, non-reference card means you might not be able to get a full cover block for it. Universal blocks work fine, but you'll have to sink up the VRMs and VRAM and such.

If you want it cheaper, go with this combo instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.719157
