The force is strong with this one.

It is putting up some impressive numbers so far. Reached 4GHz at 1.2v, ran prime95 blend test for three hours and it was fully stable. The VID is 1.2625 so that result is very encouraging.

Max temps under load:
Core 0: 51°C
Core 1: 44°C
 
Not particularly.

It's only rated to 65W at stock. With the overclock it's pulling maybe 78-80W for the CPU. Based upon the CPU overclock wattage estimator here.

With the system under load with Prime95 the entire system only pulls 200-210W at the wall.

Your Core i5 2300 and my 2400 have a higher power draw, they're rated at 95W.

Says my i5 would be about 103 watts - that's pretty close actually.

Now, I wonder how high this chip will overclock this time
